VPN Black Friday 2026: is the discount real?
Black Friday is on 27 Nov 2026 and Cyber Monday on 30 Nov 2026. Almost every VPN will advertise “up to 80% off” — but that's measured against a list price nobody pays. Here we compare what two years actually cost now with what they cost on 1 Nov 2026, from our own price checks, and show what the plan renews at afterwards.
Prices checked 21 Oct 2026, 17:46 UTC
Until 1 Nov 2026 the comparison is with the first day we tracked prices (20 Oct 2026).

Three checks before you buy
- Compare with the price before the sale, not with the crossed-out list price. The table above does it for you.
- Look at the renewal price. A 2-year deal often renews every year at the full price — sometimes 2–3 times the monthly rate you start with.
- Count the free months. “2 years + 3 months” changes the monthly rate; our totals include them.
Questions
When is Black Friday 2026?
Friday 27 Nov 2026; Cyber Monday follows on 30 Nov 2026. VPN sales usually start a week or two earlier and run into early December.
Are Black Friday VPN deals real?
Some are, some aren't. The “% off” is usually measured against a monthly list price; the honest test is the total for the length you'll keep it against the price a few weeks earlier, which this page shows.
