About VPNtally

VPN prices are advertised as a monthly rate for the first term. What you pay when the plan renews is usually much higher and is printed in small type, if at all. VPNtally collects both numbers from each provider's own site and adds them up, so you can see what a VPN costs for as long as you'll actually keep it.

What we do

• Check the prices of 8 VPNs every 6 hours, as a buyer in the US, the UK and the eurozone sees them.
• Show the first payment, the renewal price and the total for one, two and three years, ordered by price.
• Keep every price change, so you can see when a provider raised or cut its prices.

What we don't do

• We don't rate or review VPNs and don't publish scores. Speed, privacy and features matter, but our job is the price.
• We don't take money from VPN providers to change the order. At the moment we don't use affiliate links at all; if we add them, every such link will be marked and the order will stay by price.
• We aren't owned by or affiliated with any VPN company.
